Sweetness!

At lasttt~ It's done! QAQ


My first Promo Artwork for my Vocaloid One-shot doujinshi, Sweet Pierrot of Mine~　・ 私の甘いピエロ～ (Yeahh it's quite a long name. I usually just call it 'Sweet Pierrot' to save time. XD)

For those of you who already know about this, sorry for taking so long to get this done! OTL I lied and took two extra days. Sorry for the wait. But it's here now~


For those who don't have any idea what the heck this manga is, here is a brief summary:

Sweet Pierrot of Mine is a one-shot doujinshi (duh) that I am working on. A high school slice of life comedy and romantic drama story (shoujo manga), inspired by both the song 'World is Mine' and 'Karakuri Pierrot'.

It features Miku Hatsune and Kaito Shion as the main characters, and yes, this manga is MikuxKaito.

A whole lot of the Vocaloid family will be frequently appearing as well. (especiallyrinandlenbecausehowcaninotincludethem//shot XD)

The actual plot of the story has been formed, but it needs more work to make it more interesting, with lots of references and plot-bunnies needing to be added. XD


And now stuff in dot points because they are the awesomest thing in the world. Of listing.

The one-shot will read from left-to-right, like how you would read a normal English book or comic. This is because my friends want to read it, and most find reading from right to left to be a task. :/ It shouldn't be a problem though, should it?
So far into the planning, it seems that there will be at least two different parts of the manga, or 'chapters'.
The one-shot will be mostly screentoned, besides a few pages which will be fully coloured at the beginning of each 'chapter'.
The story is still in the planning/storyboarding stage, so uhh, it won't be released anytime soon. I am working on it though! (But I also have a whole lot of other stuff to do. OTL) I will post updates on its progress though!

In other notes; I'm really didn't like colouring this piece. ;A; I started over twice before finally grudgingly ignoring the flaws, and I still dislike how I shaded this piece. At least it looks okay finished now. OTL (For the first time I like the background more than the characters. QAQ Kaito is so derp... orz)

The future Promos and the actual cover art will be much better, I promise. >^<

But, I hope you guys do like it, and rest assured, I'll definitely be posting more Sweet Pierrot stuff! X3

Also regarding the huge space above Miku's head, there's actually supposed to be a logo-thing there, but I still haven't decided on the design, so that'll be added later. (imsoindecisiveomgorz)
